Hearing aids

We offer a range of different types of hearing aid at competitive prices to suit your needs and budget.

Modern digital hearing aids are a far cry from the old analogue devices. Micro electronics and huge advancements in all aspects of the manufacturing and design process mean you can choose from a variety of models to suit your lifestyle, needs and budget. Click here for pricing guidelines.

CIC - Completely in the canal

These are the smallest of the in-the-ear models and offer maximum discretion. They are suited to mild-moderate hearing losses, although potential users should note that they are too small to allow for telecoil or dual microphones to be included.

ITC - In the canal

Like the CIC these aids are very discreet though the slightly larger size means these aids can incorporate dual microphone and telecoil technologies which help in noisy environments. They are ideally suited for mild to moderate hearing losses.

ITE - In the ear

In-the-ear aids generally offer more power than the smaller models making them suited to people who have more severe hearing losses and who prefer not to wear a behind the ear aid. ITE models are also suitable for anyone with dexterity problems.

RIC - Receiver in the canal

These aids are the very latest development in hearing aid technology. A miniature on-the-ear aid is coupled by a thin micro-tube to a tiny receiver unit that sits within the ear canal. This delivers a smoother amplified sound within a very comfortable and discrete package.

Behind or Over The Ear and Open Fit

These hearing aids sit behind or over the ear and transmit sounds through a tube to an earmould within the ear. Recent developments in feedback suppression allow us to fit for profound losses without the wearer experiencing whistling or feedback.
